J E S S I E   D A Y

Jessie Day graduated from Falmouth College of Art in 2006 with a BA(Hons) in Textile Design. In those days Jessie focused on telling stories with mixed media and her degree show revolved around embroidered pieces that illustrated the hidden world of a natural history museum archive. Communicating ideas and creating worlds for her work has always been a particular interest and as a result, Jessie finds the research and collection-building process totally engaging

 

Jessie moved from London to Brooklyn, NYC in Spring 2018, with her family, her embroidery hoops and a naughty little dog called Dot.
